Worship at GFPC with Dr. Toby E. Mueller

Guntersville First Presbyterian Church is currently in a state of growth and transition between full-time pastors.  This is an exciting time for our church; the opportunities are endless!  We have selected Dr. Toby Mueller as our Temporary Pastor during this period of  transition while our Pastor Nominating Committee continues its work is selecting a full time Pastor.

She will deliver our Sunday Service and will be here at our church attending the needs of our congregation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will be on call from her home in Huntsville, where her husband Dr. Mark Mueller is Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. . 

Dr. Mueller is well qualified and has served most recently as Designated Pastor, Trinity Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, AL.  Additionally, since 1996 she served as Designated Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church in Mobile;. as Interim Pastor in Overlook Presbyterian Church in Mobile; as Providence Presbyterian Church in Mobile; as Interim Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia, AL; and as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Foley. AL.

Toby Mueller completed her Doctor of Ministry program at Columbia Theological Seminary. At each stage of her education and ministry she has completed an impressive series of Pastoral and Ministry education segments.  She has been active in North and South Alabama Presbytery, performing leadership roles in Workshops, Retreats, Bible Study, Marriage Encounter  topics.

Dr. Mueller is comfortable being addressed as Toby as she is actively trying to get to know all of Guntersville First Presbyterian Church congregation and guests.  E-mail or call Dr. Mueller with questions, comments, prayer needs..
